At JONROG technology, we've decided our clients deserve more than just IT services, they deserve a partnership. Someone who will step in and help develop business strategies aligning specifically with each client's goals; not just a generic set of tools that provide baseline security and help desk support. That's why we no longer consider ourselves a managed services provider, we're your Technology Solutions Partner.
What is a Technology Solutions Partner?
A Technology Solutions Partner, or TSP for short, is a company that not only provides high-quality and reliable IT services; but also works to add value to each client by helping develop strategic policies and plans that align with that organization's long-term goals. We don't just apply a set of software and walk away, waiting for you to ask for help. Nor do we generate generic reports each month with stats and figures on them to make it look like we've been busy. We get into the weeds with you. We ask the questions you might not know to ask and then help you find the answers. This allows us to turn your technology into a productivity powerhouse instead of just another monthly expense.
But... how?
Excellent question, and we thought you'd NEVER ask!
We don't claim to be the experts in anyone else's line of work, but we do consider ourselves experts in IT. We likely know more about it than you'd ever care to, and we can use that to help look at things through a different lens. We start by asking questions. During this phase, we'll actually meet with your staff members and leadership teams to analyze how they use technology during daily operations. We'll ask questions like:
- What do you use that system for?
- Why do you this task this way?
- How many people and how long does it typically take to accomplish this?
- And quite a few more... but we won't get to the good ones here :)
After we conduct our interviews, we'll have a better understanding of your company's daily operations; what it is exactly that you do; how you're doing it; why you're doing it; and finally, how we can help make it better. We'll develop a foundational plan, and afterwards, hold our first business technology review.
I thought you guys called those QBR's...
Most of our competitors probably do call them Quarterly Business Reviews. We hate that term. Not everything happens on a quarterly cycle, and we're here to focus on how technology can make your life better. So, we renamed them... and hold them whenever we want. (Not really, we'll hold them on your schedule, but it could be monthly, it could be quarterly, it could be every 8.762345 weeks. That's up to you. We'll do what we can to accommodate.)
During these reviews, we'll go over what's changed since the last one, how we can adjust the plan if necessary, and bring anything new we've come up with to the table. Maybe a new technology has come out that can supercharge your operations. Maybe an old technology is being used for a different purpose, and it would improve your productivity. Maybe Karl in accounting needs to stay off of YouTube so we should look at putting a block in place. Either way, we've had our ear to the ground since the last meeting and if something has happened that can help, we'll let you know.
